It is hard to believe but it has been a year today since my girl lost her leg. It was one of the worst days of my life having to drop her off at the surgeon that morning.
We have come so far in the last year. She is happy and cancer free (so far at least). We still do a lot of things that I thought we would never do again like walk on the beach. When I first saw people celebrating an “ampuversary” I thought they were crazy. Why would you want to celebrate a horrible day?? But now I get it. We are celebrating how far they have come and how their strength and bravery inspire us every day! Happy 1 Year Ampuversary to be beautiful girl, Kaiserin ❤️
